Katerina Mirovic: Slovenian
, curator and leader of the art collective Stripburger (Stripburek).
Katerina is one of the
founders of the Stripburger magazine and still a member of editiorial
team. She also works as a fine arts producer -
organizing, producing various exhibitions of Strip Core mulimedia
art
group and catalogues.
"Last year I founded the Republika
Strip edition and will in October publish the second publication,
solo
album by Slovene artist Ciril Horjak. Last year I published the
album
by Marko Kociper. The purpose of the Republika Strip is to publish
solo albums of Slvoene artists, sicne there's no other publisher
here
interested in doing it."
From its base in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Stripburger
magazine/anthology has for ten years collected and presented the
finest comics from "the Other Europe" in its
own magazine Stripburek, as well as via presentations and exhibitions
all over Europe.
