Time pressure: 4 pages in 4 hours
This comic is a result of a comic book project from Raptus, where we wished to give youth the opportunity to try the concept "24 hours series"
The project started wednesday 9th of september with a comic book course with Wang Da. Here the participants got tips and infomation about how to build their own comic, character design, worldbuilding, and what one should focus on when you only have 4 hours available.
The day after was the challenge: four comic book pages on four hours! The theme this time was: "Manga". Based on what they had learned the previous day, they had to develop an ide, plan the story and finish drawing it in only 4 hours! All the comics was then collected, printed and published under Raptusfestival 2026 on saturday 12th of september same week.
The result is what you see here - made by young comic book creators n record time!
Thank you so much to this amazing group!

Raptus is back in autumn 2027 and will take place
at the Cultural Center in Åsane, Bergen
We are excited to announce the location and date for Raptus 2027!
We have got new websites!
On that occasion, it is not impossible that you will experience some things that do not behave quite as they should, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Like everything else in Raptus, the website is also developed by volunteers, and we work as quickly as we can.
